Rotary Speech Competition for Kaelyn and Morgan

Tuesday November 9th

Kaelyn presented an interesting speech about 'Books' and Morgan had the audience in stitches with her thoughts on 'Why we need laughter in the world'. Unfortunately we didn't place in the competition but both girls agree that it was a tough competition, and well worth participating in!

Sailing on Kōtukuwhakaoka (Lake Brunner)

November 17th

Sadly this year we only got out for half a day as the weather was not ideal to sail on Tuesday (unless you wanted to be struck by lightning!). Even so we had a great experience with Have a Go Sailing and its always great to enjoy the natural resources right at our doorstep!

The start of the day - looks a bit murky out there!

And we're off!

Back on dry land!
