Basketball Canterbury Visit 

We were very lucky to have Joe Cook-Green and Nic Book to show us some skills and techniques for basketball. As Te Kinga students are playing in the local competition this learning was really relevant and FUN! 

Maths is Fun!

This week we were building 'to-scale' house models for Maths - some people added extra features! There will be more to come in Week 11...

Week 8 in Te Kinga...

Maths games... This week the challenge was to invent a game that involved area. The Year 8's came up with a blindfolded (or mask-blinded!) maze, the Year 7's created a HUGE game of 'Eels and Ladders' and the Year 6's came up with a game that used co-ordinates as well as area (similar to battleships). 

Technology Thursdays...

This group worked hard on creating a 'Petmix' using 'Remove Background'.
